Lela Fay Broadway Black Lela Fay Broadway Black, age 71, of Russellville, lost her battle to COVID on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Russellville Hospital. She is now rejoicing with her Lord.

Fay worked at Russellville Healthcare for several years. She was a member of House of Victory Church and was a sweet, Godly woman who always put her Lord first and then her family. She was truly a humble beautiful soul, who always had a smile to share. She loved all her babies no matter if they were fifty or five and she let everyone know it.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 06, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 07, 2021 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Pastor Nick McSpadden and Colby Spain will speak at the service. Burial will be at Jonesboro Cemetery. Due to the COVID pandemic, we are asking everyone to please wear a mask.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Black; daughter, Angela Black Spain; brothers, Troy Broadway, Truman Broadway; and sisters, Lily Keplinger, Sue Taylor, and Annette Broadway.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandson, Colby Spain (girlfriend, Via Aguiler); son-in-law, Tim Spain; sister, Ida McClemore; and a host of nieces & nephews.

The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to the Russellville Hospital ICU staff for your love and care of our family.
