Patricia Olga “Pat” Pruett

Patricia Olga “Pat” Pruett, 87, of Sardis, passed away on Thursday December 31, 2020. She was born on March 26, 1933 in Madison Co., to the late George and Martha Simmons. Mrs. Pruett was employed at The Peoples Bank in Sardis for over 50 years. A member of Sardis Methodist Church, Mrs. Pruett, was very involved with the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Pruett was active for many years in the Republican Women, holding offices at the county and state level. She served on several boards including 911, Southwest, and Senior Citizens. Mrs. Pruett was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie, daughter, Nancy Roberts, and son, Michael Pruett. Mrs. Pruett is survived by her son, Paul Pruett (Becky), seven grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, sisters; Sandy Bingham and Martha Hathcote, brothers, Glen, Jerry, and Eddie Simmons.
A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sardis Senior Center.
