Pauline Joyce Oliver“To know her was to love her” It is with deep sadness to share with you the loss of our mother, Pauline Joyce (Wright) Oliver, who passed away December 29th, 2020, at her daughter’s residence. She passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family.

Pauline was born January 7th, 1942, the daughter of Dewey and Lola Wright. Pauline is survived by her children: Warren (Dawn) Davis, Tim (Julie)Davis, Darwin (Dawn)Davis, Kim (Kerry) Clack; Step-daughter: Julie (Jeff) Carpenter; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Dixie Wright and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry B. Oliver; her parents Dewey and Lola Wright; her siblings: Jean (Lao) Kunkel, Paul (Mary) Wright, James Wright, Helen (Bobby) Music, Patricia (Wright) Herman and granddaughter Kori Jo Hathaway.

Pauline enjoyed life to the fullest, loved God, was a leader and mentor to her family and friends. She was a retiree of General Motors, where she worked in many areas including editor for the plant newspaper (“The Final Line”). She co-produced and participated, with her co-workers in multiple talent shows, throughout her years with G.M. Mom’s favorite hobby was dancing, which she enjoyed sharing with family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. “Bring Your Dancing Shoes”
