Florence Police Arrest Suspect Charged With Attempted Theft Of Property

FLORENCE-The Florence Police released a statement concerning the arrest of a suspect in the damage to a motorcycle:

“Officers responded to Alpine Village at around 7:30 PM on December 29th, to a call of a male looking around vehicles in the parking lot. 

The complainant made contact with the male and kept him there until officers arrived.  The suspicious male was identified as Chance Courington.  Officers were able to link him to a motorcycle that was manipulated as if to steal.  Courington had possession of multiple tools that were consistent to damage on the motorcycle.  He was charged with Attempted Theft of Property, Possession of Burglar’s Tools, and Criminal Mischief.  He is being held on a $7,500 bond.”
