Jimmy E. Wylie, 66, died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Red Bay, AL and worked as a plant manager in furniture manufacturing. He was a member of Pineville Baptist Church.
Services will be Thursday, December 31, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Robert Wood officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Site Cemetery in Marion County, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his spouse – Jennifer Spencer; one son – Jeremy Blake Wylie Melson; three step-children – Rebecca Lawrence, Beth Williams and Jeremy Reid; nine grandchildren; one sister – Judy Wylie and a nephew – Mike Sartin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Porter and Essie Mae Wylie and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Wood, Rodney Lawrence, Harold Vinson, Gary Vinson and Jeremy Reid.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 30, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
