Update: The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office have identified the body that was found in Hartselle on Sunday.
Deputies identified Bobbie Jolynn Garrison, age 43 of Lacey’s Spring, as the body that was found.
HARTSELLE-On Sunday, December 27 the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department reported a body was found by a hunter. The sheriff’s department is investigating and it is not known if foul play was involved:
“At Approximately 9:41am on Sunday, December 27 a hunter reported a body being found on Jenkins Court off of HWY 36 in unincorporated Hartselle.
Deputies responded, located a deceased white female and secured the scene. Coronor Jeff Chunn and CID Investigators arrived and processed the scene. They were able to identify the female and are in the process of notifying family.
The body will be sent to forensics with the cause of death under investigation.”
