Mr. Fred Orville Harper of the New Home Community; passed away peacefully in the early hours of Friday – December 25, 2020 at his residence at the age of 93 years.
Mr. Harper was born on August 16, 1927 to the late William S. Harper and Sophia Mae Harper in Cullman County, Alabama. Mr. Harper was a farmer and specialized in cattle and poultry. Among the many accomplishments he endured throughout his life, he is most proud to have served his country in the United States Air Force in World War 2. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and watching football.
Mr. Harper will be forver remembered by his beloved wife of 67 years; Gladys Mae Wilson; son, Keith Harper (Karen); daughter, Sherry Harper; grandchildren, Megan Harper (Nick eddy) and Sarah Harper; great grandchild, Bryson eddy; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his beloved parents, Mr. Harper is at last reunited with his brothers, Duck Harper and Gart Harper; sister, Jean Burgett.
Graveside Service and Interment will take place at the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery on Monday – December 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Kenneth sanders, officiating.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Harper to his final resting place will include: Shane Bryson, Wayne Brugett, Bruce Bradley, Don Fleming, Donnie Garrett and Tim Kelsoe.
