 Richard Alton “Ricky” Hogan Jr., 50, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Augusta, GA. and worked as a carpet installer for 35 years. He was a minister in Church of God.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 22, 1:30 p.m. at Belmont City Cemetery with Bro. Scotty Young officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife- Meredith Hogan; a daughter- Whitney Hutcheson and her husband, Corey; four sons- Shawn Hogan and his wife, Kaitlin, Corey Hogan and his wife, Katlyn, Alec Hogan and Matthew Hogan; four grandchildren- Aiden and Wyatt Hutcheson and Andrew and Evelyn Hogan; parents- Richard Hogan, Sr. and Annette Hogan; two brothers- Stacy Hogan (Jennifer) and Michael Hogan (Misty); one sister- Elizabeth Newman (Rusty); six nephews- Gabriel, Eli, Timothy, Tyler, Grady and Levi Hogan; three nieces- Hannah, Jessica and Zoe Hogan; father-in-law- Rex Leitner; mother-in-law- Suzanne Leitner and brother-in-law- Eric Leitner.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Hogan, Corey Hutcheson, Rusty Newman, Grady Newman, Gabriel Hogan, Eli Hogan.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
