Mrs. Edith Maxine LeCroy, age 90, of the New Friendship Community in Arab, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020.
Mrs. LeCroy was born on July 7, 1930 to the late John Newton Dispennett & Martha Caroline Starkey Dispennett. Some of Mrs. LeCroys hobbies included; traveling, fishing and tending to her flowers. She was an avid Alabama Football fan & loved cheering on the tide. To pass time in her later years she found joy in reading, word puzzles and coloring books.
She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
Mrs. LeCroy leaves behind to celebrate her life; daughter, Judy Cox (Raymond); sons, Ronnie Keith LeCroy (Gail), Rodney Kyle LeCroy (Lisa Jo); sisters, Margie Albright, Ruby Jewel, Imogene Dispennett; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. LeCroy is preceded in death by her husband Dock LeCroy; sons, Charles R LeCroy, Jr., Benny Dale LeCroy; brothers, Herman Dispennett, Kyle Dispennett, Leon Dispennett.
Graveside service will take place at the Brookwood Cemetery on Wednesday – December 23, 2020 starting at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Randy L. Blakely, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. LeCroys family asks that donations be sent to Comfort Care Hospice.
