Ruth King, age 79, of Detroit, AL passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Northwest Medical Center. She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on Sunday, May 04, 1941 to James Author Green and Lillie Ogles Green.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 12-2 p.m. at the Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with B.J. Mills officiating. Burial will be at Kingsville Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond King; son, Terry King; sisters, Lucille, Lillin, Helen, Francis; brothers, Howard, Charles, Troy Green.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Gary King (wife, Misty); grandchildren, Haley Emerson (husband, Taylor), Kayla King; great-grandchild, Ava Claire Emerson; brothers, Orville Green (wife, Roxie), James Green (wife, Jerri); a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
