Ilene Sims, 80, died Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County, AL to Willie and Gracie Gann Sartin. She had worked at Fred Kings, Red Bay, AL and was a member of Red Bay Church of God.
Graveside services will be Friday, December 4, 3 p.m. at Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS with Bro. Gary Puckett and Bro. Billy Allen officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years – Ray Sims; one son – Stevie Sims (Barbara) and two grandchildren – Ray Sims and Sarah Sims.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Sims and a brother, Harvey Sartin.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Cooper, Jeff Pharr, Wayne Sims and Jimmie Adams.
