Ernest Michael King, 66 of Union Grove, passed away Friday night November 27th at Huntsville Hospital.
He was born May 28th, 1954 to Ernest J & Faye King.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Marsha Ballew King, Daughter & Son-In-Law Cassie & Steven Speegle, Grand Daughter Grace Speegle, Brother & Sister-In-Law Terry & Shelia King, Sister-In-Law & Brother-In-Law Sheila & Daniel Knox, Father-In-Law & Mother-In-Law Edgar & Patsy Ballew.
He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Union Grove where he has served as Music Minister & most recently, a Layspeaker for the United Methodist Church. Mike was a lifelong educator in the Marshall County School District, affectionately known as “Coach King.” He was a loved member of his community and rarely walked into a business where someone didn’t come up to shake his hand.

The viewing will be held Tuesday, December 1st at Union Chapel United Methodist Church from 12-2pm, followed by the funeral service at the church at 2pm. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel directing.
