Mr. James Rodney Towler, age 42 of Cragford, AL, passed away Friday, November 20, 2020 at his home. A private service will be held by his family.
Rodney was born in Alabama and lived in Randolph County and Clay County most all his life. He was a carpenter most of his life and enjoyed the solitude found by walking his own path.
He is survived by his siblings, Randall (Traci) Towler of Hogansville; Charles (Kelly) Towler of Heard County, GA; Glenn (Ashley) Towler of LaGrange and Pamela Stephens of Birmingham; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Mr. Towler is preceded in death by his parents, James Billy Towler and Shelby Jean Rollins Stephens and his paternal grandmother, Joyce Harp.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of arrangements.
