Lorene Jones Anderson, 90, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020. She was born in DeKalb County on November 27, 1929 to the late Lee and Nora Jones and attended Clark Avenue Holiness Church. Ms. Anderson was a hosiery worker at Bonnie Mills and V.I. Prewett and Son before retiring from Repak.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 28th at Fischer Cemetery with Rev. Jack Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children: Robert Gerald Anderson, Vickie Lynn Waldrop, and Roger Anderson; grandchildren: Nicole Anderson, Kyle Anderson, April Evans (David), Jonathan Waldrop (Leah), Daniel Waldrop (Lindsey), Anna Harding (Justin), Amy King, Steven Anderson, Bryan Anderson, Chris Anderson (Brandi), Johnny Lindsey, and Scott Anderson; 28 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Gleason Anderson and Bobby Anderson; son-in-law, Nelson Waldrop; brothers, Leonard Jones and Roy Jones; and sister, Nannie B Whitley.
