TUSCUMBIA-Tuscumbia Police request the help of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency to investigate a single-vehicle accident that occurred in Tuscumbia on Tuesday, November 24:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, has claimed the life of a Tuscumbia man.

Kenneth Ray Blue, 52, was killed when the 2005 Chevrolet Impala he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Blue, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred at 606 East 8th St., inside Tuscumbia city limits. Tuscumbia Police Department requested Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division conduct the accident investigation because Blue was attempting to elude police officers prior to the crash.

Nothing further is available as Troopers continue to investigate.”
