Rita Carol Woods, 51, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Dec. 15, 2012.
A memorial service is planned for noon Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at McCormick Cemetery, Sumiton, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Thomas Bevis; daughter, Deressa Carol Higgins; sister, Sandi Bevis Pickens; and granddaughter, Brook Hurst.
Survivors include her mother, Irene McClung Bevis;
daughter, Natasha Higgins;
grandchildren, Destiny, Kayla and Taylor Hurst;
brothers, Dennis Bevis, Richard Bevis (Gracie) and James Bevis (Becky);
sister, Rhonda Stout.
She was of the Baptist faith.
