Roy Vanderford Roy Vanderford, 77, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center – Tupelo. He was born on May 6, 1943 to the late Leonard “Bill” and Louise Powers Vanderford and was of the Pentecostal faith. Roy worked as a truck driver and will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 1-3 pm Monday, November 23, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Masks and social distancing are encouraged. A celebration of Roy’s life will be held for family only on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home East Chapel officiated by Rev. Kenneth White and Rev. Jaron Rucker. Interment will be in Grissom Chapel Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Roy’s memory include his son, Travis Vanderford and wife Cindy of Corinth; his grandchildren, Sara Waldrep and husband Timothy, Jaron Rucker and wife Anna, and Laura Stamper and husband Chris; his great-grandchild, Huntley Rucker; his brothers, Troy Vanderford and wife Mary Ann of Booneville and Jerry Vanderford of Corinth; other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Christeen Grissom Vanderford.
