Linda Elene CaulderLinda Elene Caulder, 67, passed and went to be with her Lord on October 7, 2020. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on January 31, 1953, and was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. Linda was defined by her unparalleled love and devotion to her children, unwavering faith in God, selflessness in caring for others and incredible work ethic.

Linda and her younger brother, Peter, were very close and remained best of friends for the rest of their lives. They tragically lost their mother in 1971 and father in 1972, and following this loss, Linda joined the United States Navy on February 1, 1974. She served as a radio operator until she was honorably discharged in 1976 and, thereafter, moved to Alabama where she would start a family that would become her life and legacy. Linda enjoyed Alabama football, books, movies, music, and puzzles; however, she lived for her two sons and cherished the time she spent with them and their families. She would work very hard throughout her life and would not be deterred in her goal of making sure that her sons always felt loved, secure, and provided for. A breast cancer survivor, she was eternally optimistic and found joy all around her. Whether it was a breeze, sunshine, a song, or a pretty view, there was always happiness to be found. Her unconditional love, personal sacrifices and the example of her character will resonate for generations. She was loved beyond words and will be deeply and truly missed.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Marcellus Peter and Beverly Jane Prasalowicz, and her brother, Peter Donald Prasalowicz. She is survived by her sons, Benjamin Marcellus Caulder (Jennifer) from Weaver, AL, and Nicholas Van Buren Caulder (Megan) from Lincoln, AL; Brother, Jason Prasalowicz; Five grandchildren: Mikailie Jade Caulder, Delilah Lillian Caulder, Emmett Wade Caulder, Zachary Alexander Caulder and Amelia Marie Caulder; nieces: Lucy Bannister, Christy Caulder, JaNell Prasalowicz, and Stacy Lorenzo; nephews: Joe Caulder, Timothy Caulder, Ross Bannister and Peter Prasalowicz, Jr.
