Thelma Euthema Gamble

Mrs. Thelma Euthema Gamble, age 96, of Mt. Hebron, passed on to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday morning, November 18th, 2020.
She was born December 28, 1923 in Marshall County, Alabama, a daughter of the late Thomas and Cora Rains.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, George Harold Gamble; sister, Geneva; brother, Johnny; daughter, Donna Gail Johnson; son-in-law, Darrell Currier.
She was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
Thelma was always busy raising her children and working around her home. She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, going to church, music, and reading. Most of all, she enjoyed the love of her family and friends and cherished each moment spent with them.
Thelma is survived by sons, Thomas Gamble (Doris), Darrell Gamble; daughter, Gennie Currier; son-in-law, Bobby Johnson; seven grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. All of whom will greatly miss her.
Funeral service for Thelma will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with a short graveside service immediately following in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. David Wisener and Rev. Bill Rucker will officiate the service.
Thelma’s Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Her Great-grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
