Franklin Wayne Wingo, 76, of Iuka, MS passed away on Friday,, November 20, 2020 at his residence. He enjoyed fishing, working, and being a giver to those in need, whether it be sharing what he raised, a kind word, or a helping hand. Wayne was a huge supporter and helper with Children’s Church and the Street Ministry. He attended Gospel Lighthouse Church. HIs greatest joy in life was his wife, children, and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dillard Wingo; his sons, Ronald Lane Wingo and Scotty Wayne Wingo (Sadie); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Grace Wingo, Thomas Wayne Wingo, Abigail Rose Wingo, A.J. Tabo, and Bethany Tabo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred “Sonny” and Lorene Brumley Wingo; and his brother, Myron Wingo. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A graveside service is scheduled for Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 2pm at Snowdown Cemetery, officiated by Bro. William H. Burcham. In the event of rain, the services will be held at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Burial will be in Snowdown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Hyde, Josh Hyde, Jay Stutts, Pate Stutts, Greg Brady, Blake Brady, Junior Bivens, and Jonathan Wingo. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Bivens, Terry Dalton, Leroy Moore, and Alan Hutchison. The family would like to send a sincere “Thank You” to all of Wayne’s caregivers, Joyce, Annette, Kay, Sandra, The Staff of Legacy Hospice, Bro. Dixon, and Bro. Owens. Donations may be made in Wayne’s honor to the Children’s Ministries at Gospel Lighthouse Church or to The Bridge at Burnsville.
