Christene Ewing, age 89 of Double Springs, passed away November 19, 2020.
She was born August 16, 1931 to Cleve and Hildred Nicklaus.
Visitation will be Monday, November 23, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, Double Springs. A graveside service will be held in the adjoining church cemetery at 11:00 a.m. . Brothers Ronnie Melvin, Gary Wakefield, and Joseph Martin will officiate the service.
Christene is survived by her daughter, Jo Ewing; son, Charles (Becky) Ewing; granddaughter, Ashley (Kevin) Boring; grandson, Jason Ewing; great grandchildren, Jackson Caylor, Ella Caylor, and Boone Boring; brother, Ellis (Martha) Nicklaus; and sister, Elsie (Kenneth) Gaines.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Marvin E. Ewing (m. 1947); brothers, Orville Nicklaus and Bill Nicklaus; and a great granddaughter, Leah Ewing.
