The skills students acquire as part of the competitions then translate into the workforce, particularly in STEM-related fields and industries.

“Our program features options in Bio-Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology, and Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology with outstanding faculty who are not only specialists in their field but also have real work experience and expertise,” said Dr. Sara Lynn Baird, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. “Students participate in a wide variety of experiential opportunities, hands-on learning, and related activities like the ChemE Car Team. We also offer the Master of Applied Manufacturing Engineering for those interested in working toward an advanced degree.”
