Mr. Bill Greene, age 87, of Boaz, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Diversicare of Boaz.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Sardis Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Mike Goforth, Rev. Max Roden and Bro. Tyler Gardner will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 until 2 at the church before the service.
He is survived by his daughter, Jana Mayhall, son, Jim Greene (Kathy), grandchildren, Nate Coronado (Carrie), Casey Greene, John and Jesse Mayhall, great-grandchildren, Anna, Jericho and Allie Greene and Austin Coronado, and brother, Roger Greene (Janice).
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ina Greene, sister, Sarah Peterson, brothers, Bobby Joe and Danny Greene and sister-in-law, Myra Greene.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to American Cancer Society and The Sardis Baptist Church Charities.
The family respectfully requests the use of masks and strict adherence to social distancing requirements.
