Funeral services for Mr. Dannie Davis, age 66, are scheduled for 2 PM, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Mr. Davis passed away Saturday in Lexington. He was born March 13, 1954 in Enville to the late Ray and Rumell Dickson Davis. He was a National Guard Veteran and a service worker for Henderson County Waste Dept. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his squirrel dogs. He was preceded in death by his brother, Mr. Dale Davis and two sisters, Betty Byrd and Joyce Helms. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Gail Lockhart Davis; his son, Danny Ray Eddings (Leslie); two sisters, Linda Pearson (Jessie) and Johnnie Davis; and three grandchildren, Megan Lonski (Matt), Marianne Thorpe (Trent), and Ryan Saine (Lannah).
