ATHENS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday, November 15 has taken the life of one person:
“A single- vehicle crash at 12:10 a.m. on Sunday, November 15, has claimed the life of an Athens man.
Timothy Dewayne Middlebrooks, 43, was killed when the 2016 Harley-Davidson he was operating left the roadway and struck a tree. Middlebrooks was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Townsend Ford Road near Monarch Way, approximately 10 miles west of Athens.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
