Patsy D. Wicks, 70, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at her sons residence in Memphis, TN. She was born on August 20, 1950 to the late Clifford and Vera Arnold Rogers and received her Master’s Degree from Mississippi State University. Patsy taught 3rd grade at Kossuth Elementary for 36.5 years and was of the Pentecostal faith. Her greatest passions were teaching children and enjoying sunsets overlooking the Mississippi River. She will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 1 pm till service time Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Masks and social distancing are encouraged. A graveside celebration of Patsy’s life will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 2 pm officiated by Greg Woodruff. Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements. Interment will follow in Magnolia Gardens. Those left to honor Patsy’s memory include her son, Christopher Wicks of Memphis, TN. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry “Dinky” Wicks and by her sister, Peggy Ann Rogers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to your charity of choice.
