FLORENCE-On November 5 Law Enforcement along with the chief investigator from the Alabama State Pharmacy Board raided Barnes Healthcare and Pharmacy on Court Street in Florence.
According to Chief investigator with the Pharmacy Board, Eddie Braden the pharmacy has been under investigation for about six months.
A new complaint against the pharmacy prompted the raid on November 5. During the raid all controlled substances were removed from the premises.
Operations in the pharmacy are shut down until the hearing before the Pharmacy Board which will take place on February 16, 2021 in Birmingham.
No arrests have been made in this case to date and the licenses has been suspended until the hearing.
