Hazel Inez Lee, 95 of Sardis, entered into rest on November 8, 2020 at her home.

Hazel was born on December 4, 1924 in Morgan County, Alabama. She was a loving mother, grandma and MawMaw who loved her family dearly.  She was a great seamstress and enjoyed gardening, quilting, fishing, trips to the beach, listening to country music, her favorite artist being Marty Robbins and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 6pm-8pm at Sardis Baptist Church No. 2, where the service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 2pm.  She will lie in state from 1pm-2pm.  Brother William McClellan and Brother Jeff Wiggins will officiate.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Hazel is survived by her sons, Larry (Linda) Lee and Rickey (Pam) Lee; daughters, Patricia (Glenn Wilkins) Parker and Glenda (Jim) Wilson; grandchildren, Sandy (Mike) Jackson, Sherry (Jeff) Strickland, Stephany (Chris) Clemmons, DaLita (Terry) Smith, Michelle (Micheal) Garcia, Shane (Kristi) Barnette, Kimberly (Andy) Hooper, Kelly (Nathan) Lee, Adam (Sarah) Lee, Jessica (Michael) Cornelius, Scott (Ashley) Lee, 24 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Andrew Jackson and Bertha Jane Wright; her husband, Henry Hubert “Brownie” Lee; siblings, James, Earnest, Hubert, Opal and Myrtle and an infant great great grandson, Christopher Yost.
