Dessie Dees, 92, died Saturday, November 7, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Itawamba County, MS to Hobson and Rose West Vick. She was member of the Church of God of Red Bay for over 70 years.
Graveside services will be Monday, November 9, at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Bro. Marshall Green officiating. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by one son-Homer Dees (Sally); two granddaughters-Deanna Holland and Donna Sparks; five great-grandchildren-Jonathan Sparks, Hayden Holland, Hogan Holland, Michael Sparks and Natalie Sparks; four great-grandchildren-Anna Headly, Callen Lunn, Charlee Sparks and Avery Sparks; four sisters; two brothers; special nephew and caregiver-David Elrod and caregivers-Dianne Cummings, Joyce Bates and Carolyn Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
Pallbearers will be Hayden Holland, Hogan Holland, Jonathan Sparks, Michael Sparks, Scott Lunn and Rick Gonzales.
Visitation will be Monday, November 9, 12-1 at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
