Ms. Gertie Mae Webb Mrs. Gertie Mae Webb of Union Grove, Alabama; passed away in the early hours of Wednesday – November 4, 2020 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice Care at the age of 90 years.
Mrs. Webb was born on December 26, 1929 to the late Ollie Snow and Mamie Cook Snow in Marshall County, Alabama. Throughout her life, Mrs. Webb enjoyed partaking in hobbies such as; reading, cooking, gardening and quilting. Mrs. Webb was strong in her faith and was a member of the Union Grove First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Webb will be forever remembered by her brothers; Max Snow and James “Buddy’ Bentley; grandchildren, Matthew Thomas Parker and Katie Creager; great grandchildren, Jacob Michael Creager, Emma Elaine Parker, Addison Phyllis Parker and Hatsune Yoko Parker; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents; Mrs. Webb is at last reunited with her beloved husband; Carlton Webb; son, Carlton “Scooter” Webb Jr.; daughter, Phyllis Mamie Parker; brothers, Dean Snow and Wiley Cook; sister, Faye Martin.
A Visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Friday – November 6, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Funeral Services will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Friday – November 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Greg Narrell and Bro. Rick Douglas, officiating.
Interment will precede services immediately at the Union Grove First Baptist Church Cemetery with pallbearers; Corey Sparks, Mark Wright, David Harvell, Mark Cook, Jonathan Wright and Jared Wright escorting Mrs. Webb to her final resting place.
