“My sweet mother, what a wonderful life you lived. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson “to laugh often and much…”. and “to know that one life has breathed easier because you lived here, this is to have succeeded”. You kept that quote taped on the inside of your kitchen cabinet. So many lives have breathed easier because you lived, including mine. You had the sweetest servant’s heart and you served so joyfully. I will miss your laughter; thank you for teaching me to laugh often and much. Precious mother, we are not saying goodbye, it’s just goodnight, for we will see you in the morning. All because our Savior has prepared a place for all who have believed. Thank you for the life of faith, and love of Jesus, that you lived.
