A Private family service for Brandy Leigh Mauney Smith, 40 of Corinth, MS will be Monday, November 2, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Magnolia Funeral Home East with interment to follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Dry Creek MS. Tommy Wilson will officiate the with Billy Smith delivering the eulogy. Public visitation will be Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home East. MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED. Brandy passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her parent’s residence. She was born March 9, 1980 in Lee County, MS to Tommy Mauney and Marcia Howie Mauney. Brandy was a graduate of Alcorn Central High School and a member of Farmington Baptist Church. She enjoyed her three children, her friends and helping anyone that needed help. She had a huge heart. She was turning her life around and trying to help others do the same. Brandy is survived by her three precious children, Shelby Elizabeth Smith, Daisy Leighann Smith and Paisley Elaina Smith all of Corinth, MS; just like a son, Bryson Lindsey; her father, Tommy Mauney of Corinth, MS; her mother, Marcia Howie Mauney of Corinth, MS; her brother, Clint Mauney of Corinth, MS; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Janie Howie, Sr. and Elaine Rowsey Ayers and her paternal grandparents, Glenn and Annie Margaret Wallis Mauney. Pallbearers will be Matt Mauney, Phillip Mauney, Cliff Little, Bronson Mauney, Alex Wooten and Ryan Cousar. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Brandy Leigh Mauney Smith.
