Charles Calvin Haig, age 72 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his residence. Charles was born in Ohio on July 3, 1948 to the late Calvin and Antoinett Haig. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze star. During his travels his two favorite places to visit were, Wisconsin during fall, and his home here in Tennessee. When he wasn’t traveling or working, Charles loved to attend turkey shoots, go to mom and pop diners, or explore antique malls and estate sales. He greatly enjoyed anything British, from sitcoms to cooking shows, if it was British he would watch it, but his favorite was, “Last of the Summer Wine.” Charles was extremely kind hearted and selfless, he was always looking for a way to lend a hand and help others.
