James D. “JD” Garrison, 79, of Tuscumbia passed away Saturday, October 24, 2020. There will be a graveside for the family at Colbert Memorial Gardens. He will be laid to rest next his mother, Letsie Mobley Isom in the Cross Garden.
JD was a native of Haleyville, Alabama but lived most of his life in Tuscumbia. He is a member of Shoals Church of Christ where he loved is church family. He is preceded in death by his mother; father, William “Bill” Garrison; brothers, Billy Garrison and Buford Isom; and sister, Bobbie Nell Michael.
JD or known as Jake by his family is survived by his sisters, Faye Michael, Betty Shearin, Rebecca Lewis, and Pat Graham and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Shoals Church of Christ.
