Doris S. Owen, age 84, of Laceys Spring, Alabama passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020. Doris was born December 1, 1935 in Sisseton, South Dakota.
Doris is survived by her husband of 45 years, James D Owen; son Bryan (Maribeth); sister Sue and brothers Carl (Dee) and Bernie; grandchildren Sarah (Brad), Tim (Ali) and Katie (Drew), nine great grandchildren, step-brothers Gary (Sandy) and Don (Peggy), step-brother in-law David Erickson, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A gathering for Doris will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, with a celebration of life at 2:30 PM, with Robert Sparkman officiating. An entombment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens Chapel of Peace.
