Willis Gordon Hicks, age 86 of Huntsville passed away October 18, 2020.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years married June 24, 1956 in Rockford, IL, Glonda “Dixie” Hicks; daughter, Karen Jernigan (Jon); grandchildren, Courtney Hicks, Andrea Jernigan, Adrianne Glazer (Drew), and Brent Jernigan; one great-grandson, Brantlee Riethmaier; three sisters, Faye Eldridge, Alma Smith, and Bernice Oxner (William).
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pam Hicks, parents, Gerald and Norma Hicks, sisters, Geraldine Price, Wilma Crow, and Alta Hicks, and brother, Garland Hicks.
Mr. Hicks was retired from Barber Coleman, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Visitation is Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Bill Cantrell. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
