Walter Ulken Hereford Walter Ulken Hereford 84, of Toney, AL died Friday, October 16, 2020 at his home.
Born Wednesday, November 20, 1935 he was the son of David Earl Hereford and Georgia Priest Hereford. He lived in the Toney area most all his life and was a member of Macedonia “Little Flock” Holiness Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 58 years, Opal Joyce Heard Hereford; son, Mickey Hereford; two grandchildren; brother, Frank Hereford; and two sisters, Cena Hereford and Ozene Hereford.

He is survived by his sons, David (Janell) Hereford, Ardmore, AL, Tracy (Meredith) Hereford, Ardmore, AL, Jason (Janie) Hereford, Ardmore, AL, and Zack (Donna) Hereford, Ardmore, AL; daughters, Vickie (Stacey) Eaves, Toney, AL, Tammy (Lonnie) Burgess, Toney, AL; daughter-in-law, Regena Spurgeon; brothers, Donald Hereford, New Market, AL, Bobby Hillis, Gurley, AL, and Ricky Hillis, Huntsville, AL; sisters, Ophelia Thorton of Kentucky, Alta Drake, Toney, AL, Peggy Hereford of Florida, and Shirley Patterson, Gurley, AL; fifteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 1:00 PM, with Bro. Chris Clark, Bro. David Hereford, and Bro. Terry Futural officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
Pallbearers will be Luke Hereford, Matt Hereford, Skyler Hereford, Trey Hereford, Jason Hereford, and Murphy Hereford; and honorary pallbearers, Danny McMann and Stacey Eaves.

Due to Covid-19 and the statewide mandates mask will be required and must be worn at all times when entering and while in our facility. All while practicing six foot (6ft) social distancing.
