Mrs. Angeline “Angie” Selby Young of Arab, Alabama, the New Canaan Community; passed away on Thursday – October 15, 2020 at the age of 72 years.
Mrs. Young was born on March 24, 1948 in Morgan County, Alabama to Lige Harold Selby and Ruth Nadine Lemons Selby. Mrs. Young is a retired hair stylist and enjoyed activities such as; camping, blue grass singing, attending her church and visiting with her grandchildren. Mrs. Young was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church and was strong in her faith.
Mrs. Young will be forever remembered by her son, Shane Young (Deborah); brother, Anthony Selby (Tammy); sisters, Hattie Selby, Linda Hall, Glenda Daniels (Jerry), Shelia Dunn (Bob), Maranda Patterson and Demple Bost (Neil); grandchildren, William “Zack” Young and Alexander Paul Young as well as special friends and companion, Norman Allen and Tyler Jaco.
In addition to her parents; Lige Harold Selby and Ruth Nadine Lemons Selby, Mrs. Young is at last reunited with her beloved husband Paul Young.
A Visitation will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday – October 19, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will take place at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel on Monday – October 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Kenneth Smith, officiating.
Interment will follow services immediately at the New Canaan Cemetery in Arab, Alabama.
Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Young to her final resting place will include; Thurston Turner, Tyler Jaco, Brian Bridges, Lawrence Sanders, Zack Young and Alex Young.
