HARTSELLE-On Friday, October 16 at about 5PM Decatur Police responded to a call at 93 Sage Private Drive in Hartselle where they found a victim, Bruce Everett Cox suffering a gunshot wound.
Cox was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
According to authorities with the Decatur Police Department, through their investigation charged Mary Evelyn Hamm, 59 with murder in connection to the shooting of Bruce Everett Cox after a probable cause was established. According to investigators the incident was described as “of a domestic nature”.
Hamm has been taken to the Morgan County Jail where she remains on A $100,00 bond.
