Jerry Mack Carter, 74, of Hazel Green, passed away Monday, October 12th.
He was a member of the Huntsville Fire Department, where he retired after 40 years of service.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Paula Carter; step-children, Melanie Bird and Craig Bird (Meghan); nephews, Zachary Carter, Quint Carter, Tony Taylor, and Bruce Taylor; four grandchildren, and his sister, Barbara Taylor. He is preceded in death by his son, Brian Lee Carter; and his brother, Mickey “Slick” Dean Carter.
Visitation for Mr. Carter will take place on Friday, October 23rd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow on Saturday, October 24th at 10 a.m. at Charity Cemetery.
