Shirley Jean Ward Hulsey

Mrs. Shirley Jean Ward Hulsey of Arab, Alabama; went to walk with her savior on the afternoon of Friday – October 9, 2020 at the age of 83 years.
Mrs. Hulsey was born on June 15, 1937 in Cullman County, Alabama to Walter Thomas Ward and Ozella Bennefield Ward. In her earlier years, Mrs. Hulsey was employed with Ryan Manufacturing as a seamstress in their sewing plant, she later retired her position with the company to enjoy her most favorable hobbies such as; ceramic painting, sewing, all thing nature, birds and anything floral. Mrs. Hulsey was strong in her faith and was a member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hulsey is survived by her grandchildren, Brandon Clark and Casey Clark (Kristi); great grandchildren, Grayson Clark and Caitlyn Clark; step-son, Nicky Hulsey (Trisha); brother, James Thomas “Buddy” Ward (Gail); sister, Pat NeSmith; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents; Walter Thomas Ward and Ozella Bennefield Ward, Mrs. Hulsey is at last reunited with her beloved husband; George Ray Hulsey; daughter, Sherry Diane Clark and sister, Dinah French.
A Graveside Service and Burial will take place at the Eddy Baptist Church Cemetery in the morning of Monday – October 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Ennis Stone and Bro. Greg Stone, officiating.
Pallbearers escorting Mrs. Hulsey to her final resting place will include: Dewayne Shedd, Nick Maze, Jamie Black, Brandon Clark, Casey Clark and Patrick French.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Directing.
