Kenneth Farris, 85, died Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Itawamba County, MS to Nolan and Arvilla Stockton Farris. He was retired from Sunshine Mills after thirty-four years. He attended Antioch Baptist Church.

Services will be Saturday, October 10, 2 p.m.at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Dean Warren officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years – Ora Nell Farris; three children – Tommy Farris (Barbara), Angela Richardson (Chris) and Brenda Richardson; seven grandchildren– Tony Posey (Sarah), Danielle Birdge (Robert), Lee Farris (Lindsey), Gretta Richardson, Meagan Richardson, Andrew Richardson (Kyla) and Anna Grace Richardson; six great-grandchildren – Ginavee Posey, Katelyn, Jasper and Aubrey Birdge and Owen and Austin Farris; three sisters – Marie Franks, Lorene Pierce (Bill) and Mary Ellen Rice (Thomas); one brother – Rabon Farris and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Brandon Ray Farris, a brother, Kermit Farris; a sister, Earline Jackson and a brother-in-law, Tulon Franks.

Pallbearers will be Lee Farris, Andrew Richardson, Tony Posey and Bobby Mullins.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 10, 1-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
