William Ray Holder, age 71, passed away on October 05, 2020, at his home on Ironbridge Rd in Columbia, TN.
Ray as he was better known, was born on May 26, 1949, in Columbia, TN to his mother Margaret Bearden. Ray loved to farm spending time raising cattle and doing various farm work throughout the years at his Ironbridge residence. He would do anything just to be outdoors. Besides farming in his spare time, Ray spent time hunting, working on cars, or just spending time with family.
Ray’s life will be celebrated in service on Thursday, October 8, 2020, beginning at 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 pm the same day until service time. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum in Columbia, TN.
Ray is survived by his wife Betty M. Holder of Columbia, TN; sons: Billy Holder of Hillsboro, TN, Micheal Holder of Columbia and Kristopher Starling; daughter: Connie F. Smith; grandchildren: Brittney Prine, Bill Holder Jr., Jonathan Holder, Brett Holder, Cole Holder, Paul Michael Holder, and Selena Smith; brothers; Andy Harvey and Wayne Harvey of Columbia, TN. Ray is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
