Johnnie Anthony Cavender, age 59, of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Florence, Alabama. Johnnie was born on December 31, 1960.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2020 at Living Faith Pentecostal Church of God in Haleyville from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. where the service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Brother Joseph Desiderio will officiate. Paul bearers will include, Dustin Gates, Isaiah Desiderio, Timothy Barnett, Kamen Fletcher, Jeremiah Desiderio, and George Moyers. Honoree paul bearers will include Joe Burleson and Randy Butler.
Johnnie is survived by his wife, Tammy Cabender; son, Andy (Sarah) Cavender; daughter, Somer (Kevin) Waldrep; mother, Bonnie Cavender; brother, Kurt Cavender; 7 grandkids, Kayla, Jessica, James, and Christian Waldrep, and John, Kelton, and Colton Cavender; father in law, LJ Barnett; 2 brothers in law, Jacky Barnett and Keith Barnett; a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Johnie Mac Cavender; grandparents, John William and Margie Cavender, and Hubert and Alene Whitfield; Uncle Gerald and Bobby Joe Whitfield; and mother in law, Carolyn Barnett.
