Mrs. Alberta Williams WadeAlberta Williams Wade was born April 3, 1926, in Canfield, Arkansas, to Henry Clay Williams and Josephine Grant Williams. She departed this life Saturday, September 27, 2020, in Alamo, Tennessee, at the age of 94.

Alberta received her education in Canfield; attending the Grant School and Lafayette County Training School and was a member of The Primitive Baptist Church. She moved to Chica- go, Illinois and worked as a nurse’s aide and a teller for First National Bank of Chicago.

She married John Thomas Wade and enjoyed a long happy marriage living in Chicago and later moving to Arlington, Texas and then Alamo, Tennessee.

Alberta enjoyed attending the Crockett County Senior Center on Tuesday and Thursday to play Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband: John Thomas Wade, parents: Henry Clay Wil- liams and Josephine Grant Williams, eight siblings: Jessie Mae Baker, Otis Williams, Gladys Johnson, Arthur Lee Winn, Henry Williams, Louis Williams, Nelson Williams and Joedie Williams.

Those left to cherish her memories: a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, caregiver and sister-in-law: Joyce Wade Cole (Murlyn) of Dyersburg, TN, sister-in-law: Virginia D. Wade, and brother-in-law: M.D. Wade, Jr. (Mae) of Alamo, TN
