John William “J.W.” Yocom, 82, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away September 26, 2020, at his residence. A native of Franklin County, Alabama, he was a retired mechanic and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Graveside services for Mr. Yocom will be Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Grove Cemetery with Richie Emerson officiating.
Mr. Yocom is survived by his wife Peggy Townsend Yocom; children: Rodney Yocom, Kathy Hudson and husband David, and Ricky Yocom and wife Leah; uncle: William Feltmon; a brother-in-law; several nieces and nephews:; grandchildren: Brad Murphy, Tina and Jason Cummings, Alisha and Daylon Baccus, Corey and Madison Yocom, Seth Smith, Shelby Hudson, Nick Yocom, and Whitley and Alex Fragale; and great grandchildren: Zayden Cummings, Cooper Yocom, and Emily Fragale.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Ellie West Yocom.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
