Johnathan "John Boi" Wilbanks Johnathan “John Boi” Wilbanks passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020.

He was born December 4, 1989 in Madison County to David Hill and Linda Wilbanks Hopper. Mr. Wilbanks was a self-employed mechanic since age 14. A Baptist in belief, he loved to work on cars, ride 4-wheelers, music, family, children, cutting up and playing jokes on his family and he always wore a smile.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Bryant Hopper of Toone; his father and stepmother, David and Rhonda Hill of Pocahontas; two sons, Abel James Wilbanks and Braiden Earnest, both of Pocahontas; four sisters, Angela Hopper of Hornsby, Kayla Hopper of Iuka, MS, Davina Hill of Pocahontas, and Melisia Maybury of Bolivar; his brother David Hill of Pocahontas; maternal grandmother, Sadie Swinford of Medon; paternal grandmother Girlene Hopper of Toone; paternal grandfather Charles Hill of Toone; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather James Wilbanks and paternal step-grandfather Robert Hopper. The family requests memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital (www.stjude.org/doante)

While visiting or attending services for Mr. Wilbanks, please consider the following guidelines:
* Maintain 6 feet between yourself and the next closest person;
* Refrain from hugs and handshakes;
* When you sneeze or cough, use your elbow to cover your nose and mouth;
* Wash your hands often;
* Avoid touching your face; and
* Minimize time spent in places where people gather.
