Murrell “Dean” Clanton LaRue, age 73, of Boaz, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Boaz Carr Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 1 until 2 before the service.
She is survived by her children, Kandie (Alan) Henry and Gary (Velma) Butler, grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Lowtner, Cynthia, Melanie and AJ Henry, Angel Farlow, Ashley, Tony and Beth Alicea, great-grandchildren, Christopher, Cameron, Colt, Tidus, Jasmine, Maro, Maria, Lilly, Andrea, Ashton and Kinslee, brother, Donny Clanton, sisters, Jeane Clanton Kitchens and Tina Brown and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Junior Clanton, mother, Bernice Martin, step-father, Calvin Martin, sister, Janice Smith and brothers, Sam Clanton and Jay Smith.
