Mr. Tony Michael Williams, age 79, of Arab went to be with his Lord and savior on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
Mr. Williams was born August 15, 1941 to the late Bud Williams and Myra Nell Short Williams of Marshall County. Mr. Williams was a U.S. Navy Veteran. In his past time Mr. Williams enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping and boating on Lake Guntersville and most importantly spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Williams was a member at Arab First Baptist Church.
Mr. Williams is survived by his son, Duane (Tammy) Williams; daughters, Toni Lynette Williams, Pamela (Rich) Thacker, Pat (Keeter) Hamrick; brothers, Robert (Sandra) Williams, Johnny Williams; sisters, Dana Williams Cochran, Glenda Williams Clark, Dawn Williams (Verlon) Hagga; 9 grandchildren: 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many special friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, David Houston Williams.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2020 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Duane Williams and Bro. Brad Williams, officiating. Interment will follow services immediately at Arab Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Williams to his final resting place will include, Brandon Weigel, Jeff Clark, Don Clark, Tommy Milner, Bill Cochran & Johnny Williams.
