A Celebration of Life service for Teresa Grissom Smith, 49 of Burnsville, MS, will be Friday, September 18, 2020 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home-East Chapel with interment to follow at Grissom Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Scotty McKay will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Friday, September 18, 2020 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home-East. Mrs. Smith passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born May 15, 1971 in Memphis, TN to J.D. Grissom and Faye Carlisle Grissom. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Teresa is survived by her husband of 17 years, Franklin Lavan Smith of Burnsville, MS; her son, James Tyler Smith of Burnsville, MS; her daughter, Tererra Denette Strickland (Dustin) of Morley, MO; her brother, Tim Grissom (Nancy) of Burnsville, MS; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Grissom and her mother, Faye Carlisle Grissom. Pallbearers will be Colton Grissom, Cody Grissom, Dustin Strickland, Jackson Garrett, Tyler Smith and Randy Rorie. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Teresa Grissom Smith.
